    Gratitude to Our Indigenous Neighbors

We want to acknowledge that we are on the ancestral homelands of the Coast Salish People who have lived in the Salish Basin, throughout the San Juan Islands and the North Cascades watershed, from time immemorial. We want to express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.

Welcome to Our World on Lummi Island

We include businesses, enterprises, non-profit organizations, and recreation. Everything that we do is connected to, dependent on, and influenced by everything else we do, and the island we live on. We include:

    • Reefnet Fishing

    • Salish Center For Sustainable Fishing Methods

    • Lummi Island SeaGreens; Seaweed Farming

    • Legoe Bay Reefnetter; SalishSea Food Truck

    • Nettles Farm; Culinary Lodging

Each is part of the world that is our special home.
